This photo was taken near Rincon de Guayabitos, about 40 minutes north of Sayulita. We love making a day trip up here and eating a Sarendeado style fish lunch and enjoying a lazy beach afternoon! Our favorite Rincon de Guayabitos location is Los Ayala beach, pro tip: don't go on Sunday to avoid the local crowds. To get there from Sayulita take the 200 highway north past San Pancho and Lo de Marcos, enjoy the jungle views and banana plantations! You will eventually come to a traffic signal, this is the entrance to Los Ayala! Turn left and follow the road down to the beach! There are several restaurants and the beach is great for kids and general lounging around. There are so many great spots around Sayulita, each year we learn about new ones! Which are your favorites?
