One of our favorite Sunday activities is visiting the La Cruz Sunday Market. The location can't be beat, its inside of the marina, and the whole experience is surrounding by the ocean and boats. There is an area with artisans selling handmade goods. My favorite part is the area with fresh cheeses, bread, fruits and vegetables. And finally there is a food cart area with many lunch options. There is a stage and they always have live music with lots of shade. Sometimes we even get artisan ice cream on the way back to our car. If you are looking for something fun to do outside of Sayulita I think the La Cruz market is a great option. It usually runs from November to April, you can check their website to see if they are open during your visit. Unfortunately right now, with new Nayarit covid-19 restrictions in place, the La Cruz farmer's market is closed.
