I made my first website 7 years ago.  It was embarrassing.  In  2011 I redid it.  The second version was better, but now 2 years later I am embarrassed again.  Why did I set the site width so narrow?!  Who picked those colors?!

Now I am thrilled with how my 2013 website update it is turning out.  Ok, I'm not totally done yet.  I probably should have waited to go LIVE but did I mention how embarrassed I was of my 2011 site? I needed a change immediately.

Do you have a website? Did you make it yourself? What programs did you use? How long did it take? I have been working on my website for 3 months now, and I have three pages done.  Well, I run a retail store and home school at the same time so that may be why.  Still, I love working on it.  I use Photoshop primarily, but I am exploring some other options for better text.  Photoshop did just make an update to help with just that, read about their update here.  I also use Godaddy and Squarespace.  Neither is perfect, but for a busy working mom with a secret web design passion they are perfect.

So about the part I still have to do... Well there is the shopping part.  I have my work cut out for me.  The pictures are ready, they look awesome.  I made my own diy cardboard lighbox.   The part I am dreading is setting up the cart.  I made a plan today to get one up each day.  Stay tuned!
